Rocky Mountain National Park

Our April 4th excursion to Rocky Mountain National Park was a journey through spectacular mountain panoramas. From the first glimpses of Longs Peak and Mount Meeker near Estes Park to the hike around the icy Bear Lake, nature provided an impressive backdrop of rugged rock formations like Hallett Peak and the Mummy Range. Sighting deer grazing by the roadside added to the authentic wildlife experience. The day concluded perfectly with a luxurious stay at the Riversong Inn, where we were able to reflect on the overwhelming impressions of the day in total comfort.  to the report

Rocky Mountain NP – Day 2

On the Deer Mountain Trail, we enjoyed—during the first 1.5 miles—the spectacular contrast between the rugged, gray-blue peaks and the sunlit valleys on both sides.

On the Cub Lake Trail, the atmosphere grew gentler; amidst the vast mountain meadows, we observed a marmot on the warm rocks and a raptor circling calmly above the granite walls. The hike concluded with The Loop Trail, which we had to cut short due to bad weather.  to the report

In the Labyrinth of Time

This travelogue takes you along the spectacular Harpers Corner Drive in Dinosaur National Monument. From the vibrant layers of Plug Hat Butte to the dizzying precipices of Echo Park, we experience a landscape shaped by millions of years.
